Timothy O’Grady is an experienced senior attorney at the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd., with a proven track record of successfully litigating high-profile legal cases.

After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University in Chicago, Timothy graduated at the top of his class from Oklahoma City University Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1995.

Mr. O’Grady is licensed to practice law in the State Courts of Missouri and Illinois and the Federal Courts in the Southern District of Illinois, and the Eastern District of Missouri. Before joining the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd., Mr. O’Grady practiced law in St. Louis, Missouri, where he worked with one of the nation’s top criminal defense attorneys and developed a reputation as a tough, seasoned litigator.

Mr. O’Grady is not afraid to be assertive in order to protect his clients.

His practice now primarily focuses on family law, domestic relations, and protecting the rights of fathers. Timothy successfully represents clients in divorce proceedings that involve complex and often contested paternity, child custody, support, maintenance and visitation issues.

While primarily practicing in Cook County, Timothy also extends his valuable litigation skills and court system knowledge to Will, DuPage and Lake Counties.

In 2005, Tim O’Grady was appointed by the Governor to serve as a Commissioner on the Illinois Council on Responsible Fatherhood.

In 2006, Mr. O’Grady successfully defended Brandon Casey, lead singer of the music group Jagged Edge, and reduced his alleged child support arrearage by over $500,000.00.

Additionally, Mr. O’Grady lectures on legal matters with Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court Judges in the Circuit Court of Cook County for educational purposes. As the father of two, he understands the crucial role fathers play in the lives of their children.
