Family Law Paralegal

Great opportunity for a litigation paralegal. Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills a must. Successful candidates will support assigned attorneys and back up other paralegals as needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player. Responsibilities

• Court filings and noticesDraft and prepare pleadings and other correspondence
• Issuing and responding to discovery
• Legal research
• Docketing
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff and clients

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate required
• Previous family law experience a plus
• Familiarity with motions and other pleadings
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, able to track and meet deadlines
